Marie Look is a writer of creative nonfiction and an editor for the Insight department at The Offing, an award-winning digital literary and art publication. Her personal essays have appeared in The Bluebird Word, HerStry, and Hot Pot Magazine, among others. As a journalist, she has contributed celebrity interviews, travel articles, and more to regional and national magazines. She completed her undergraduate degree in journalism at the University of Oklahoma and the creative writing certificate program at UCLA Extension. At the latter she was a nominee for the 2023 Allegra Johnson Writing Prize. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, daughter, and dog.
